1276 patients who were hospitalized with COVID-19 were included in the study. They were followed up for 6 and 12 months.
︎Most COVID-19 survivors recovered well physically and functionally, and have successfully returned to their job and life during the one-year follow-up.
︎Yet, the overall health status of those patients was lower than the rest of the population. It is worthy to note that a high rate of pulmonary diffusion disorder was seen.
Continuous observation is needed to determine the pathogenesis of the long-term health effects of COVID-19.
