Are anticoagulation medications needed in moderate to severe cases of COVID-19 infections?

In the present study, blood tests were performed on 255 moderate to severe COVID-19 patients who were treated with anticoagulants and immunosuppressants.
It has been concluded that hemostatic disorder in COVID19 has been correlated with increased systemic inflammation, disease severity, comorbidities, and mortality risk.
Coagulopathy in COVID 19 can lead to both ischemia and bleeding. Management and prevention of thrombotic complications in COVID-19 cases should be provided.
